His extensive experience spans Operations, Software Development, Customer Support to Sales and Marketing. Al holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Pepperdine University. Al has hands on technology experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Software Technology. Key IT companies worked on includes Microsoft, Equifax, McKesson, Bank of America and others.
Andy Wells, Partner in SmarTek21 and Group of Companies. Andrew has more than 25 years’ experience in IT Risk Management, business process re-engineering, program management, data warehousing and applications development. Prior to Kaiser Permanent, Andrew was with JP Morgan Chase as CTO and CSIO for Corporate systems. This includes 7,000+ systems developed, managed and audited on a yearly basis. He was also for 4 years with Lloyds and Barclays Bank. One notable solution that is used today is the Worldwide International Money transfer system for JP Morgan which included Cybersecurity, Identity Access Controls and all items needed to make secure transactions. Andrew has experience taking consumer banking products as well as implementing Enterprise Scale systems. Andrew received his formal education in England in Strategy, Banking and Finance from the University of Bournemouth.

Zahir Popat brings 25+ years of experience in his current role as President of SmarTek21 Canada and International Regions. Zahir also serves as an Advisor. Zahir’s role is focused on the corporate development of the product for international markets. Prior to joining SmarTek21 Canada, Zahir has held positions as Chairman and CEO in various Life Sciences companies.

Brad Rickman has over 20 years of sales and marketing senior leadership. Brad has led the successful launch of new products and sales for six early-stage software technology companies. Today, these companies have a combined market value of over $1 billion. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Product Marketing for SmartBotHub. before joining SmarTek21 and SMartBotHub, Brad was with T-Mobile for six years specializing in growing the channel sales strategies serving T-Mobile’s SMB customer segment. He has vast international experience with ten years of business development in EMEA and APAC. Brad lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and three boys. He enjoys running, water skiing, coaching football and is active in his local church. Brad is passionate about customer success and realizing transformational value delivered to clients.

Scott Pfeiffer protects and manages the financial well-being for SmarTek21. As a licensed CPA with over 25 years’ experience, Scott brings a unique blend of expertise combining Software, Consulting, and Financial activity. Scott joined SmarTek21 with prior experience serving as a CFO for companies in industries such as Software as well as an International Distribution with offices in the U.S., Germany, China & Philippines. Scott graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an avid sports fan and plays softball on several teams along with spending time with his family.
Jim Johnson is a strong senior business leader with a proven track record in Private and Public sectors, with experience of operating in highly complex and regulated environments at a global level. Jim headed Operational and IT Risk Management at JPMC both for Asset and Wealth Management as well as Treasury Services (Global Custody, Funds Management and Cash Management) and has extensive experience in banking regulatory compliance including AML and KYC. A self-confessed “change agent” with significant experience in leading organizational and leadership development with an emphasis on embracing and managing the speed of change. Proven expertise in operational risk and controls management, based on root cause issue resolution, continuous improvement and relevant risk assessment techniques. A recognized team player with a passion for effective communication and developing a high-performance culture, that strives to deliver optimum value to clients, employees and shareholders. David Mosley, Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Kirby Corporation, Kirby Corporation is a $3B public marine transportation and diesel engine services company (NYSE: KEX). David has been in the VP & CIO role since 2007, serving as a member of the Kirby Executive leadership team as the company has grown from $984M to $3B in revenue over the past 10 years. Responsibilities include leadership of all IT activities for Kirby Corporation and all Kirby business units, including IT strategy, partnering with business leadership to achieve strategic business objectives, IT organization leadership and development, application development and support, data management, and infrastructure. In 2018 David was selected as one of four Enterprise finalists for the Houston CIO Leadership ORBIE award. Prior to Kirby, David served as VP & CIO for Prudential Real Estate Services, Vice President – Service Delivery for Iconixx Corporation, Vice President – Product Development and Services for ADP Dealer Solutions, and in various information technology development and management positions. David has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.

Gus Nathan has more than 25 years’ experience IT Risk Management and has been recognized for achievements and demonstrated expertise building high-performing, mission critical cybersecurity platforms and support infrastructure, cloud-based internet-scale application services, and a proven track record of expanding and managing high-caliber engineering and development teams deployed using a hybrid on- and off-shore model for execution of multi-million-dollar development plans. Gus has delivered advanced strategic business and operational risk remediation solutions, including SOX, HIPAA/HiTrust, PCI, FDA and SSAE16 internal controls; enterprise-scale fraud and risk compliance programs, application planning, execution and development, senior management (Board Level) reporting, and information security governance best practices.
Gus served in multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Kaiser Permanente, Ameriprise Financials and American Express. Gus received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, as well as postgraduate research from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, England.
Nigel Pilling has more than 25 years’ experience in Information Technology Management. His experience includes major client projects, business process re-engineering, audit and IT risk management, program management, and infrastructure management and applications development. He held a number of positions with JPMorgan Chase, many with global responsibilities. Nigel received his formal education in England in both Chemistry and Information Systems attending the University of Bristol.

His experience in software development and integration provides a versatility across all technology ecosystems. He and his team of experts understand the importance of hiring and developing great talent while providing the systems, process, and tools to create meaningful and impactful user experiences.
Prior to SmarTek21 Ramesh has served in a variety of Delivery and Leadership roles serving Fortune 1000 organizations within Utilities, Life Sciences, Pharma, Retail, Media, and Telecommunications. Born and raised in India, he and his family now enjoy their home in the Seattle area.

Apratim Vyas brings more than two decades of experience driving innovative product development and building large scale enterprise software solutions leveraging exponential technologies like AI, NLP, Cloud and Big Data. He played key leadership roles to transform start-ups to successful growth companies and contributed to multiple patents.
He is responsible for critical functions of SmarTek21’s core products, including defining the product roadmap and strategy. His industry experience spans building mission critical messaging systems, large payment systems, electronic document management & delivery, image processing, OCR, data mining and analytics systems serving multiple verticals on SaaS and On-premise deployment models. He holds BS in Electronics Engineering, Strategic Management from IIM Calcutta and Data Analytics from IIT Roorkee.

Sangeeth Mohanan has been with the SmarTek21 group since its first office was set up in India in 2006. Over the years, he has risen through the ranks owing to his tremendous leadership abilities. He currently supervises all aspects of IT Operations, finance, and human resources in India. He is known for building enduring relationships with employees, customers, and vendors. Sangeeth has been key in supporting our rapid growth internationally including setting up multiple development offices across India. As part of the core leadership team, he travels regularly to all our locations to help with the successful execution of critical company-wide initiatives.
Savitri Sarangi has 24+ years of experience in software services to global clients. It is majorly on Application Services in Open Source, Microsoft Technologies, Oracle Application Framework, BPM and ECM tools. At SmarTek21, Savitri takes care of offshore Application Services delivery from India, the focus being delivery excellence, process adherence, quality and client satisfaction. The twin responsibility includes people management and competency development (CoE) in no less measure. Savitri has specialized in Project Management and Estimation and served in Financial Services, Public Sector, Auto, Industrial Equipment, Travel and Telecommunication domains.
